Getting Started
To begin creating an entry, select the + New Entry button. This can be found:
On the Entries list page (after logging in), or
Within the Entry Snapshot section on your CMS dashboard.
Entry Types
Once selected, you will be presented with the following screen displaying the 9 available entry types.
1. Data: Banner
A Banner allows you to create a static section on your CMS page, typically used to highlight key content or pages.
Mandatory Fields:
Title – The name of the section.
Call to Action – A link to another entry or page within your CMS.
You can link to any existing entry, though commonly used links include your Contact Us or Vacancies pages.
2. Data: External Link
This entry type allows you to embed external URLs within your CMS, directing users to third-party websites.
Useful Feature:

Open in New Window – Toggle this option if you'd like the link to open in a new browser tab.
3. Data: Testimonial
Use this entry to display customer or colleague testimonials on your site.
Mandatory Fields:
Name – The individual giving the testimonial.
Role – Their job title or relevant role.
Image – You may upload a new image or select one from your CMS library.
You can also use:
Testimonial / Testimonial Extended – To add primary and additional text content.
Industry and Position ID – (Optional) Used for data refinement via Eploy system IDs. See our CMS Glossary for details.
4. Data: Video Embed
This entry type allows you to embed a video using a YouTube URL.
Mandatory Fields:
Title – Heading for the embedded video.
YouTube URL – Must be a valid YouTube link.
You can optionally include a Caption to describe or summarise the video content.
5. Page: Article
Use this entry to create text-based articles for your site.
Mandatory Fields:
Title – Article heading.
Date – The date the article was created or posted.
You may also:
Add an Image.
Assign a Category (Note: Categories must be created by the Eploy Design Team).

Enter body content in the Content field.
Important: Articles are not automatically published. Submit a ticket to the Eploy Success Team to have an article added to a specific page.
6. Page: Article Listing
An Article Listing displays a collection of published articles on your site.
Field:
Title – Name for the list section.
7. Page: Content
This entry is used to add static text blocks to your webpages.
These can be used as:
Standalone content sections
Call-to-action areas when building components.
Refer to the Creating Components Guide for more information.
8. Page: Home
This entry type is used to build or replace your site's homepage.
Mandatory Fields:
Title – The page heading.
Image – At least one image must be uploaded with a minimum resolution of 1920px x 416px.
You can also:
Add a Vacancy Search Banner (configured during site build).
Include a Page Introduction below the title.

Use the Content section to add components to the homepage layout.

9. Page: Landing
Similar to the Home Page entry, this entry type is used for additional pages on your site.
Additional Field:
Supertitle – Acts as a secondary heading above the main title.
Landing pages are often used for navigation menus or internal links, providing users with a clear and connected journey through your site.
