Adding Components to Web Pages

📍 Accessing Page Content

  • Go to the Entries screen from the CMS dashboard
  • Click on the page you want to edit
  • Scroll to the Content section at the bottom
  • Click the green "+" icon to add a new component

🧱 Component Types

There are 10 different component types you are able to create.

1. Accordion

  • Can be used for creating items like expanding dropdown sections (ideal for FAQs)
  • Add a title and detailed text content
  • These must include at least one added item, which require their own unique title and content.

 

A Accordion can look something like the below image.

2. Banner

  • You can only insert a static or job search banner
  • These are limited to only one per component but you are able to layer them by creating an additional component.
  • Banners are pre-designed during the initial web build and should any new banners need creating contact the Eploy Success Team.

3. Feature Card Grid

  • Grid layout highlighting key info with images
  • A minimum of one or more cards are required to be added and each of them require an image
  • Ideal for values, benefits, or company mission/statement sections.undefined
  • For any changes to grid colours or or customisation contact the Eploy Success Team.

4. Function Card Grid

  • Grid displaying live job data
  • Choose from: Position, Industry/Function, Location, Vacancy Type
  • Each selection needs a valid Eploy ID, which is gathered from within your Eploy system.
  • The process path to find the ID is Admin>Drop Down lists> Whichever option you need > then the unique ID in the left hand collumn.
  • You can also link categories to other CMS pages.

5. Latest Vacancy / Latest Jobs

  • Displays live job listings within your Eploy system.

  • Use ID filters to customise results to specific areas or locations within your business.
  • Set a Display Limit (e.g., show 10 latest jobs max)
  • Display types:
    • List – scrollable
    • Grid – 3x3 layout
    • Slider – scrolls 3 jobs at a time
    • List Full – vertical full view

The Image below uses the slider display type.

6. Highlight

  • Emphasises key page content (e.g., mission, initiative)
  • Solid option to link to another page within your website.
  • Includes CTA (Call to Action) button, which requires you to use a pre-created entry.
  • The mandatory Image appears on the left of the text. (using the toggle will align the image to the right instead).

7. Testimonials

  • Pulls from testimonial entries created within your CMS. These are their own entry type.
  • A minimum of one testimonial is required when looking to use this component.
    • One testimonial = static layout
    • Multiple testimonials = slider format

  • Use the Creating Entries Guide to add new testimonials

8. Vacancy Map

  • Interactive map of live jobs
  • Filter by Position or Industry/Function ID
  • Optional: Add a candidate filter button

9. Vacancy Search Banner

  • Adds an interactive map showing all live vacancies within your Eploy system.
  • You can refine the jobs being shown using the ID function as with similar components.
  • Options for search radius and dropdown filters

10. Video Embed Block

  • Embeds a video on the page
  • A video entry must have been created before you can create this component. 
  • The title and text fields here are fully optional.
  • Link the video using the Data: Video Embed field.
  • You can only use one Data:Video Embed per component.
