When you first log into the Employee Portal, you will immediately see a dashboard based on your recent referral activity, as well as potentially a leader board, your available bonuses or points and your most engaged colleagues.
As well as the dashboard, you will have access to a vacancy search, any existing referrals to track their progress, your bonuses and your rewards. You may even have access to a Store, to spend your hard earned points!
My Dashboard
From here, you can see your current level & balance, as well as the progress made towards levelling up.
Click the three dot menu to access any account settings, which includes your avatar, your regional settings (language & timezone), plus the option to reset your password.
As well as your account settings, you will be able to review the dashboard shared with you. This will likely include any details around bonuses due, rewards claimed and referrals made. You may also have access to any referral data, such as the Top Referrers in your team & business, as well as your most engaged Employees.
Vacancies
Within Vacancies, you will find all roles that are currently available for you to refer. You can search for specific vacancies using the keywords or location search, as well as the advanced Filter. Whilst the default view maybe the grid, you can also chose to view roles via the map view.
Hint - You can also chose to promote internal vacancies in your Employee Portal. This will link to your candidate portal and allow Employees to quickly access any internal only opportunities.
If you click the job title, you can see more information about each role, as well as review any potential bonuses due for a successful referral.
Referring a Vacancy
Once you have found a role you want to refer someone for, you can either use the Find Matches option or the Share icon on the vacancy.
Hint - If you are able to make generic referrals, by directing people to the vacancy pages, you will also find the Share option in the top right hand corner.
- Find Matches - This option will take you to LinkedIn, where once logged in, will allow you to search for people in your network who have the same role currently & maybe interested in the positions.
- Share - Here you can select how you want to share the role, across different social platforms, via email or via a QR code. You can also just copy the URL to a clipboard if you decide to share via any other method.
Once shared, it will be tracked against the vacancy as a 'Share', whilst once the recipient submits an application, it will be converted into a Referral.
Referrals
Within Referrals, you can track the progress of any received so far, including any bonuses potentially due & the current state of the application (applied or hired). There are filters at the top of the page for searching, whilst you can quickly tick Applied / Hired to see those at each stage; great for when you start to receive lots of referrals!
Bonuses
Successful Referrals that go through the recruitment process and become Hires may have bonuses associated to them and this is where you can track what is Pending or Paid. If a referred candidate is hired, the bonus will show as Pending until the due date in line with your company Referral Program. Once the bonus is then due, it will change to Paid to confirm that the monies have been received.
My Rewards & Store
As you accumulate points, you can then choose to redeem them as Rewards from the Store. You can see the different types of rewards available within the store, before selecting to Claim Reward on your preferred option.
So long as you have reached the required level & have the points available, the reward will then show within My Rewards. It will also notify your program manager who can process the request for you.
Once processed, the reward will update from Requested, into Paid or Declined as appropriate - all of which you can track from within My Rewards.
