With Eploy's new Zoom integration, you can now sync your system with your chosen video conferencing platform & create meetings all whilst working within Eploy.

Note - This can be set up within Admin - Security Settings - Standard Users, so you will need to have the relevant admin user permissions to set this up.

Syncing Zoom Account

When looking to integrate with your zoom account, there is a section for Online Meetings, where you can click the Link Zoom Account option. This will trigger a pop-up, where you can follow the instructions available to log in, then authorise the link between Eploy & your Zoom account. You will need to be logged in as an authorised user in your Zoom account settings in order to set this up.

Hint - You can chose to remove the Zoom installation at anytime, either by unlinking the account in the same way you have set it up, or by logging into your Zoom account, navigating to your Apps & removing the one for Eploy.

Interviewing with Zoom

Once you have your Zoom integration set up, you can use these when creating actions to help arrange online interviews. Simply click Create Meeting within the action, underneath the location field to load in the meeting information. Once loaded, the meeting details will populate the Interview Instructions field, which is then available as a merge field in any automated emails to candidates, contacts or users.

Creating Interviews for Other Hosts

If you need to create an interview on behalf of a different host - i.e you are arrange an interview for a Hiring Manager - you can do this by changing the Organiser on the action. This will allow you to select the Hiring Manager and when you load in the zoom meeting, it will be created against their account. This allows you to create on their behalf and ensure the right host can start the meeting.

Recorded Meetings

Within your Zoom Account, there is an option to 'Automatically Save Recorded Meetings' - if this option is selected, at the conclusion of a recorded meeting the recording will be processed and hosted by zoom, before being made available within the Eploy action as a hyperlink. 

Scopes Required by the Integration.

user:read:admin

This is used by the Integration to search the linked Zoom Organisation Account for an account which matches the “Organiser” field for an Action or Slot within the Eploy System.

meeting:write:admin

This is used by the Integration to schedule a Zoom meeting for the “Organiser” selected when creating an Action or Slot within the Eploy System.

meeting:read:admin

This is used by the Integration to gather information from Zoom about a meeting that has been scheduled by an Action or Slot within the Eploy System. This information is limited to the “Join URL” and “Invite Message” which Zoom provides for all scheduled meetings.

recording:read:admin

This is used by the Integration to append links to any cloud recordings for a scheduled meeting to the Action or Slot within the Eploy System.
