With our Internal Mobility module, you can encourage your employees to review & access internal jobs, all safely behind a validated log in - this will help to protect your internal roles and ensure that they are only available to those who currently work for you. This will even help to ensure that employees who leave the business no longer have access to those internal roles too.
Configuring Internal Mobility
Within Admin - Employee Portal - Internal Mobility, you can configure exactly how your internal roles are shared with your employees, including ensuring that only those who are validated & logged in have access to your internal jobs.
Hint - Don't have access to Admin - Employee Portal? Please contact your Eploy Account Manager for more details on how to get this implemented & any costs associated.
Once you have accessed Internal Mobility, you will see there are two options to configure:
- Only allow Employees to view internal vacancies on Careers Site - Once ticked, this option will direct any employees to the Employee portal, to log in and validate themselves first, before allowing them to access internal jobs.
Hint - Once active, any links to internal jobs that are shared will require the recipient to log in, before they can access the vacancy.
- Only allow Employees to select Yes for 'Do you currently work for us?' - If ticked, any candidates who register and attempt to tick YES, they will be directed to the employee portal to validate that they do actually work for you. This will also mean that this field (Do you currently work for us?) will be linked to an Employee record and update automatically based on being linked to an active Employee.
In order to benefit fully from Internal Mobility, tick both of these options so that all employees are validated as internal candidates as they access jobs and register on the system.
The Internal Candidate Journey
Once active, any candidates visiting the careers site & wishing to access internal jobs, will need to click on Internal Vacancies in the portal.
This will redirect them to the Employee portal, where they can either register as an Employee or using SSO to sign in & register automatically.
After logging in, they will be directed back to the candidate portal, with access to internal jobs where they can search, refine and include external jobs if they chose too.
Once they have found a suitable role, clicking Apply or Register will allow the Employee to provide their candidate details, including CV and preferences if required.
Hint - If the employee has already registered as a candidate, they will be automatically logged into the candidate portal, once they validate they are an employee.
Do you currently work for us?
If you have this field on your registration page, the field will be automatically set to NO, unless the employee has already been validated. If this is the case, the field will be set to YES.
If the candidate then changes this to YES, they will be automatically directed to the Employee portal to register / validate themselves, before returning to the candidate portal where they can complete the candidate registration. This will link the employee to the candidate and ensure that they have access to Internal Jobs, next time they access the portal.
